The binding, with its bionic design, was developed for athletes and rigorously tested by them, and it has speed in its DNA. It is so light that you can barely feel it, yet it remains extremely robust for the toughest conditions, thanks to race-specific high-performance materials like machined aluminum and carbon. The entry into both the toe and heel pieces is race-optimized and works super easily and quickly, ensuring you don’t waste valuable time in the transition zone. The climbing aid is also easy to operate for even greater efficiency on the ascent. In accordance with ISMF regulations, the DNA binding releases both frontally and laterally and can also be manually locked. Starting from the 2021/22 season, ISMF competition rules also mandate the use of a stopper. To comply with this, the new DNA binding can be equipped with a 33-gram lightweight Low Tech Race stopper, which impresses with its innovative dual function of climbing aid and stopper, as well as one-handed operation. Athletes can switch between ski and walk modes in seconds while simultaneously activating their climbing aid or the stopper alternately. Through the functional integration of the climbing aid into the stopper, athletes save the last gram.
