With the HG 1800 Spline wheels, you can ride there and back without hesitation. The robust rim combined with reinforced components is perfectly matched to higher system weights (up to 140 kg) and riding on gravel. The rim width perfectly supports tyres with a width of up to 50 mm so that your ride over gravel feels like a walk in the park. The newly designed hub conceals the Ratchet LN freehub system at its core, which ensures reliable power transmission. This new wheelset is designed to support you on an extended adventure on gravel trails. The 370 Hybrid Spline hub has been redesigned to support higher torques from motors in e-road bikes. A higher system weight means higher braking forces needed to slow down, while the additional power from the battery means higher drive torque when accelerating. To meet these higher requirements, the hub shell has been reinforced accordingly. In addition, the freehub body has been updated with our Ratchet LN freehub system. Even our entry-level hybrid wheels can now count on the reliability and simultaneous engagement of the Ratchet system. Without sacrificing their aerodynamic advantages, the hybrid versions of the new DT aero hybrid spokes have a reinforced spoke head of 2.15 mm. This is offered as a solution for higher dynamic loads due to the higher system weight, which makes the spoke head a potential weak point. In addition, the increased thickness of the spokes improves their resistance to fatigue that occurs during the rotation of the wheel when each spoke is loaded and unloaded.
