The Drymax Extra Protection Hyper Thin Socks combine moisture-wicking Drymax fibers with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) fibers, which reduce friction. The result is optimal protection against blisters in the lightest sock available.
PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of all fibers, making it the best material for reducing friction between skin and sock. With reduced friction, the Extra Protection Socks stay cooler and drier, which decreases the risk of hot spots and blisters.
This system incorporates PTFE fibers in the heel, forefoot, and toe areas of the socks. These socks are designed to be the lightest and thinnest socks made with PTFE fibers on the market.
