The Drymax socks for hot weather combine Drymax fibers with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) fibers to limit heat caused by excessive friction. This system features PTFE fibers in the heel, forefoot, and toes of the socks. To keep the feet cool, integrated open mesh strips dissipate heat and moisture. PTFE has the lowest coefficient of friction of all fibers, making it the best material for minimizing friction between skin and sock. The low friction keeps the hot weather socks cooler and drier, reducing the risk of pressure points and blisters.
