Its lightweight design is achieved through the use of Pertex Quantum Air material, while the warmth is provided by the Thindown™ down material. Compared to synthetic insulation, this material requires a significantly lower thickness to achieve equivalent thermal insulation. The advantage is a much smaller jacket volume compared to synthetic materials. The construction of the down material prevents the down from shifting. Therefore, this insulation material can be combined with the highly breathable outer material Pertex Quantum Air, resulting in a very warm, extremely breathable, and ultra-light thermal jacket that can be worn either as an outer jacket or as a base layer under hard shell clothing. The jacket features decorative stitching on the sides for enhanced breathability.
