The biggest change in the Med Pouch Vertical MKII from Direct Action Gear is the more visible MED symbol on the front, which is laser-cut into the loop Velcro, allowing for the attachment of various patches, including IR symbols. The design has also been modified to reduce the weight and volume of the pouch. The medical pouch itself retains its key features known from previous versions. This two-part IFAK is designed to fit onto the side plate of a chest rig or onto a belt, occupying a similar PALS area as a magazine pouch. It is primarily made from proprietary laminate and 500D Cordura for increased durability. The insert with medical equipment can be pulled out with a single tug on the Velcro-secured flap. All first aid supplies are well thought out and held in place by elastic bands. The insert can be quickly opened with one hand. The interior of the main pouch is lined with loop Velcro, allowing you to attach our SHEARS pouch inside. The pouch is not only compatible with any MOLLE/PALS modular platform but can also be attached to any 45mm wide weapon belt thanks to specially designed paracord loops.
