The new Airdrive bail is lighter than before, extremely durable, and in conjunction with the new bail arm, it significantly reduces tangles during casting. If the line gets tangled on the bail arm, it simply slips through by turning the handle over the arm into the line roller, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The ATD Type-L drag releases the line under load without high initial resistance, providing a lot of security even when battling a big catch. The Longcast ABS spool made of aluminum features an optimized lip that reduces friction and increases casting distances. The Twistbuster III construction on the line roller ensures that the line is not flattened during retrieval, resulting in less twist.
