The structure of the Pro-Shape Scarabeo protector is inspired by the geometry of naturally occurring auxetic materials: upon impact or stress, these expand simultaneously in all directions, increasing the coverage area. Its structure, which leaves 55% of the coverage area open, combined with the fabric made of highly breathable material, ensures maximum lightness and optimal ventilation at every stage of the ride, even on the hottest days. The ability to completely remove the back and chest protectors offers great versatility: riders can choose which protectors to use, and washing becomes significantly easier. The zipper of the shirt is placed on the side to ensure maximum expansion of the chest protection. The length of the shirt is designed to be worn inside the pants, providing additional stability.
