Compete Tech Wmn is a very thin, lightweight base layer for competitions and intensive training. Sustainability in the Hrstellung as well as a good temperature regulation are its main features. A balanced material mix of Tencel, recycled polyester and fine merino wool with a material weight of 90 g/m2 has been used. This material mix ensures optimal insulation, good moisture transport and fast drying. Like wool, Tencel adapts to different body temperatures and offers an incredibly soft feel. Flat seams and a very fine yarn quality ensure that the sweater feels soft and comfortable against the skin during training, without uncomfortable chafing.
Compete Tech has added Tencel Lyocell, a fiber derived from cellulose pulp from the sustainable eucalyptus tree. This tree grows quickly and is cultivated on FSC-certified tree farms without genetic modification or artificial irrigation. The chemicals used to produce the fiber are administered in a closed system. This means that the solvent is recycled, reducing hazardous waste.
The fiber is as strong as polyester and as soft as silk. Its breathability, moisture wicking and antibacterial properties make it ideal for both high and low intensity training.
