The Crankbrothers Mallet BOA clip shoe performs well both on the race track and in the bike park. The innovative Match system optimizes engagement for any MTB clip system, whether Crankbrothers or SPD. The shoe comes pre-assembled with a Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat in a neutral position, allowing for immediate use with Crankbrothers pedals.

Match Box
The angled Match Cleat Box provides easy access to the pedals from the front and back while preventing mud ingress. An extra stiff carbon fiber shaft efficiently transfers power during climbing or sprinting.

Match Compound
The medium-friction rubber compound (MC1) allows for easy entry and exit from the pedals and is durable enough to withstand wear. The radial cleat pattern around the cleat ensures smooth disengagement from the pedal body.

Match Outsole
The tread is designed for traction off the bike. Direction-specific angled and spaced toe and heel lugs provide grip when climbing and descending in steep terrain. The beveled toe area ensures stability in challenging conditions.

Closure System
