Continental has further optimized the Top Contact Winter II by incorporating a Vectran breaker and a foldable core. This enhances its weight and consequently reduces rolling resistance. It features reflective strips for increased safety. The tread compound is closely aligned with Continental's passenger car winter tires. The tire performs best at temperatures between -25° and +7°C. Where other compounds struggle to maintain grip, the proven siped profile of the Top Contact Winter II interlocks with snow and wet, cold surfaces. In these conditions, the tire even outperforms spikes, which are ineffective on snow and plowed roads. The reflective strip provides additional safety during the dark winter months.
