The "Fast" among trekking tires - whether on the road, gravel, or forest paths, this all-rounder perfectly equips touring cyclists. Its pronounced central tread and bionically designed laminated shoulder ensure optimal rolling and secure cornering. Excellent puncture protection is provided by the Vectran™ puncture protection insert. It boasts an exceptionally long lifespan thanks to the abrasion-optimized tread compound. ECO50 for tires starting from 37 mm.

The benchmark in puncture protection: Vectran™ is a high-tech fiber manufactured synthetically, inspired by nature. Like spider silk, Vectran™ is a liquid crystalline polymer (LCP). Vectran™ is spun from the molten liquid polymer Vectra and processed into a multi-fiber yarn. Both spider silk and Vectran™ possess enormous tear resistance at minimal weight. These are precisely the right properties to be used as a puncture protection insert in a Continental top tire. A Vectran™ breaker is lighter, more flexible, and provides more effective protection against cuts than comparable nylon breakers. The rolling resistance is not affected by the Vectran™ breaker.

ECO – the energy-saving tires: Tires with the ECO50 logo benefit from over 100 years of experience in the development of moped and motorcycle tires. Optimized and recommended for e-bikes up to 50 km/h, they guarantee low rolling resistance and good puncture protection thanks to their particularly high-quality construction. Durability has been specifically tested for e-bikes to counteract premature wear due to additional driving force. All models equipped with the ECO50 logo carry the ECE-R 75 certification, allowing their use on fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h.
