The Continental Grand Sport Race is the most versatile of the Grand Sport models from Continental, suitable for both training and competition.

PureGrip
Based on an activated silica compound, a targeted blend technology has been developed for the performance segment. The result from the Korbach research and development department, after extensive development efforts, is a new blend technology that offers excellent grip and durability. The new rubber compound, aptly named "PureGrip," ranks just behind the BlackChili compound and is used in performance products for the Race and Mountainbike segments. It provides long-lasting traction and high mileage for Continental tires, which are exclusively manufactured at the production facility in Hefei.

NyTech Breaker
A puncture protection technology made from nylon fiber, it offers protection similar to Kevlar while providing lower rolling resistance and less weight.
