The choice for fixies, singlespeeds, and urban bikes combines a modern tread design with the latest technology. It features a coordinated race construction and pleasant damping, making it ideal for urban use. The tyre includes a black reflective strip that blends harmoniously into the side wall.

Technologies:

  • Vectran Breaker: This is the reference in puncture protection. A synthetically produced high-tech fibre inspired by spider silk, Vectran is spun from molten liquid polymer and processed into a multi-fibrous yarn. It is extremely tear-resistant with minimal weight, making it perfect for puncture protection in a premium tyre from Continental.
  • Black Chili Compound: The key question in cycling. The running properties of a tyre's rubber compound are largely determined by three interacting factors: static friction (grip), rolling resistance, and mileage. Improving one of these factors often worsens another. A tyre with maximum grip wears faster and rolls slower. With the Black Chili Compound, based on the latest polymer and raw material research, Continental has provided a lasting solution. The compound recipe is specifically adapted depending on the tyre's application, whether for racing bikes, mountain bikes, time trials, or downhill.
