The choice for fixies, single speeds, and city bikes combines a modern profile design with the latest technology. It features a coordinated racing construction and comfortable cushioning, making it ideal for urban use. The tire includes a black reflective stripe that is harmoniously integrated into the sidewall.

Technologies:

  • Vectran Breaker: This is the benchmark for puncture protection. A high-performance synthetic fiber, inspired by spider silk, is spun from melted polymer and processed into a multi-fiber yarn. It is extremely tear-resistant and has minimal weight, making it perfect for puncture protection in a premium tire from Continental.
  • Black Chili Compound: The central question in cycling. The performance characteristics of a rubber compound are primarily determined by three interacting factors: static friction (grip), rolling resistance, and mileage. Improving one of these factors often deteriorates another. A tire with maximum grip wears out faster and rolls slower. With the Black Chili Compound, based on the latest polymer and raw material research, Continental has provided a sustainable solution. The formulation of the compound is specifically adjusted depending on the intended use of the tire, whether for road bikes, mountain bikes, time trials, or downhill.
