Proven tread pattern and BlackChili Compound offer excellent grip, especially in wet conditions. Tyres with BlackChili Compound achieve an unprecedented level of performance. Compared to activated silica tyres, BlackChili tyres have a 26 % lower rolling resistance, a 30 % higher static friction coefficient (grip) and a 5 % higher mileage. Polyester has been used successfully in car tyres for many years and has proven itself time and time again. The extremely resistant polyester fibre is woven crosswise in a tight mesh. This results in a very high fabric density, which makes the breaker not only resistant to foreign bodies, but also particularly resistant to punctures. The rolling resistance is also not negatively affected by the PolyX Breaker.

The Grand Prix 5000S achieves a top value for rolling resistance. Grip and comfort are top notch. The weight is still within the green zone for a tubeless model. In the puncture protection tests, the 5000S makes it into the top ranks. The initial fitting, however, is somewhat difficult.
