Ready for the next adventure: The Katla MIPS helmet is inspired by the breathtaking landscape of its namesake, the Icelandic volcano Katla. It is the largest helmet in our range, designed for the biggest adrenaline junkies – mountain bikers! To ensure you are optimally protected while riding your (E-)MTB, you should always wear a helmet without exception.

The Katla MIPS is made from a combination of a lightweight in-mold micro-shell plastic construction and a thin EPS inner shell, and it is equipped with the MIPS system. What is MIPS? The MIPS technology allows the helmet shell to move relative to the head in the event of an angled impact. This protects your brain from rotational forces and serious injuries.

With the magnetic Fidlock snap closure, including padding, the helmet can be opened and closed with one hand, all without the risk of pinching. The integrated TriVider, an extra-wide strap divider, ensures high comfort and individual adjustment. Speaking of adjustment: Thanks to the XY Sizer (adjustment wheel) at the back of the helmet, the Katla MIPS can be individually adjusted in height and width. The cooling padding inside the helmet has an anti-sweat effect and is washable and replaceable.

The visor made from recycled ocean plastic and the integrated insect net make the Katla MIPS the ultimate companion in nature. The straps made from recycled PET bottles are reflective, providing an added level of visibility.
