A special fabric around the forefoot and lower leg is robust but ventilated and wicks away moisture quickly to prevent irritation. The thicker fabric in the instep area goes further up for extra protection than racing models, and a special mesh around the ankle provides reassuring stability on rocky terrain. A fully widened 'toe reinforcement' toe area offers a more ergonomic fit and proprioception, allowing the toes to grip and balance.
