The Newton hiking shoes from Columbia are a comfortable blend of retro design and modern sneaker technology. This results in a practical hiking shoe with an ankle-high shaft and a waterproof Omni-Tech membrane. The ankle-high boots feature a combination of metal eyelets and hooks and are comfortably secured with a classic lacing system. The sole technology, equipped with the Omni-Max system and a Techlite midsole, provides a pleasantly soft feel while walking. At the same time, the soles offer good cushioning and a smooth roll-off. The sole is complemented by a Techlite Eco insole made from recycled materials and a profiled Omni-Grip outsole made of rubber. This makes the Newton hiking shoes from Columbia very grippy even on wet and soft ground.
