Designed and tested in Whistler, BC, the Coast Optics Nita XL is the big brother of the popular Nita sports glasses. With a wider and taller front, it offers optimal coverage and protection for wearers with larger heads. The wide field of vision and excellent anti-fog properties, combined with high-resolution cylindrical lenses, make these glasses the top choice for a variety of adventures. Made from Bio-TPU, a sustainably sourced thermoplastic polyurethane, the frame of the glasses is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. The natural material is UV-resistant, sweat-resistant, extremely flexible, highly shock-absorbent, and durable. The interchangeable lenses of the Nita XL sports glasses are made from impact-resistant polycarbonate and feature a scratch-resistant coating. With the self-tinting photochromic lens, you have great flexibility on the go, as the tint adjusts from 15% to 85% light transmission in seconds, depending on sunlight exposure. The nose and temple tips made of Ultra-Grip rubber keep the glasses securely in place even in the toughest conditions.

Facts about the Bio-TPU material: Bio-TPU is derived from renewable resources and has a recycling content of 48%. Bio-TPU is a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional petroleum-based TPU while providing the qualities and properties necessary to tackle the toughest trails and conditions.
