The Format is Chromag's first single-clamp grip, designed for those who want to utilize the full width of their handlebars and lead their hands to the edge. They found that some single-clamp grips suffer from additional twisting, which is why they designed the sleeve to fit snugly at the ends of the handlebars. After examining the wear patterns of grips that have been in use for a long time, various patterns and zones were integrated into the Format to account for the different dynamics in each part of the hand.
