Product details
The Travel Scope 50 is a refractor telescope that is perfect for observing the earth and sky while travelling. With the Travel Scope you can observe the planets, the moon, star clusters and brighter deep-sky objects such as the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy at night. The upright image diagonal makes the optical tube ideal for use as a spotting scope during the day. Setting up the telescope is child's play and you will be able to start observing in no time at all. Even the first time, you can assemble the telescope and its accessories in just a few minutes. The adjustable tripod legs allow you to customise the height of the telescope or place it on a raised surface such as a picnic table. The entire telescope kit weighs just 2.2 pounds - perfect for impromptu observing sessions or transporting wherever life's adventures take you. Navigate the sky with the alt-az control of the pan handle and clutch for smooth and precise alignment. Move the clutch up/down, left/right to track your object in the eyepiece. The Travel Scope 50 comes with two eyepieces (20mm and 8mm), 45° upright image diagonal, 3x Barlow lens, 2x20 finder scope and a travel backpack. The two eyepieces offer different magnifications to view the desired object. The upright image diagonal allows viewing from right to top, ideal for terrestrial objects, but can also be used for celestial objects. The 2x20 finder scope helps you to quickly centre an object in your eyepiece to facilitate observation. Attach the 3x Barlow lens to your eyepieces to magnify your view. The 3x Barlow lens provides 60x and 135x magnification for your telescope. Travelling backpack - Your telescope comes with a special backpack in which you can conveniently store your optical tube, tripod, eyepieces and accessories. The telescope backpack makes travelling with your telescope a breeze; all components fit comfortably in the backpack.
