Product details
The Astro Fi telescope connects your smartphone or tablet to the night sky. Control is done through the free SkyPortal app for iOS and Android. The app replaces the traditional hand controller, allowing you to explore the universe wirelessly. Simply hold your smartphone up to the sky and look around. If you see an interesting object, tap it on the display – your Astro Fi telescope will automatically point to the target, and information about the object will appear on the screen. You’ve never been able to explore the universe so easily on your own. The Astro Fi mount provides its own Wi-Fi, so you can use the telescope at observation sites without Wi-Fi or cell reception. It features a storage tray for two 1.25" eyepieces and various accessories, including a rubberized surface for a smartphone or small tablet. The package includes a StarPointer red dot finder, two Kellner eyepieces, and a diagonal mirror. It requires 8x AA batteries or an optional power adapter.
