How is it that no one has ever made a better Gabba? In 2010, Castelli introduced the Gabba to professionals, changing the way they ride in the rain, cold, and during training. Soon, every other athlete recognized the need for a Gabba in their wardrobe.

We made a few minor updates, but for the fourth generation of the Gabba, we started with a clean slate to achieve a significant upgrade. This meant we had to make it almost waterproof, which involved developing a new exclusive GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® fabric.

With seam sealing at the shoulders and a covered zipper, it now performs better in the rain. Based on tests with Team Ineos, we concluded that two pockets, which are easier to access while wearing gloves, are better. However, we also provide an inner sleeve to prevent your pump or other items from moving around.

Creating a better Gabba is not easy, but we continue to strive for it.
