The next generation of clothing for racing in bad weather has arrived. The Gabba R long-sleeve jacket is the most protective and aerodynamic one yet. This jacket has been designed to meet the demands of professional cyclists, where every watt counts. It has proven to be our fastest jacket in wind tunnel tests, so you know you won't have to sacrifice speed to stay dry. The waterproof fabric fits snugly against the body without restricting freedom of movement. The sleeves are designed to be compatible with gloves without putting strain on the wrist. We have added three rear mesh pockets to store everything you might need, with the mesh ensuring that the pockets won't fill with water and weigh you down. The extended fabric at the back of the jacket provides additional protection from road spray, and we have added a reflective strip to enhance visibility. Once again, we have raised the bar for what competitive clothing in bad weather should be.

Technical specifications:

• Castelli's exclusive fabric with microporous, electrospun, hydrophilic polyurethane membrane
• The outer membrane keeps the jacket lightweight and breathable by avoiding additional layers that would retain moisture
• The fabric weighs only 125 g/m2 and stretches at least twice as much in every direction
• The inner fabric back is made of 78% polyester / 22% elastane to ensure extreme stretchability and improve breathability
• The polyurethane membrane has been formulated to be more hydrophobic than conventional polyurethane
• Elastic wrist closure to keep water out
