Castelli Flight Jacket Air

Our lightest, fastest, and most breathable jacket is great for high-intensity riding or for maintaining the right body temperature in cool conditions. It features no membrane but includes Polartec® Alpha® insulation.

This jacket is ideal for fast rides on days when it's too warm for a jacket and too cold for a jersey. Traditionally, you might have used a vest and arm warmers, but this jacket performs better.

Instead of completely blocking the wind from your torso, the stretch fabric is minimally permeable. It keeps enough air out to prevent freezing while allowing enough airflow to keep you drier. The lightweight Polartec® Alpha® insulation provides essential warmth in key areas without sacrificing breathability.

The cut is close to the body, making it our most aerodynamic jacket. While aerodynamics may not be a priority in winter, we believe in the "Fast is Fun" principle. The close fit also enhances warmth beyond what minimalist materials typically allow.

Additional features are designed for riders: the smooth-running YKK® Vislon® zipper allows for easy one-handed ventilation, and three back pockets provide ample storage for long rides. The jacket is cut short to avoid bulkiness in the front or back, and reflective details ensure visibility. The outer material is water-repellent to keep out splashes and light showers.
