Cane Creek Thudbuster LT

Suspension seat posts bring a piece of full-suspension comfort to bikes with a rigid rear end. While most other manufacturers of suspended posts rely on the telescopic principle, Cane Creek has taken a different approach with its Thudbuster post for many years. The distinctive parallelogram design allows for more travel, easy adjustment of the suspension to body weight without disassembling the post, and effectively prevents twisting or excessive play at the saddle. The Thudbuster LT is the long travel version of the Cane Creek suspension post, offering up to 90 mm of travel in the saddle without affecting the drivetrain or adding unnecessary weight. A urethane elastomer is responsible for the suspension here. It features a stainless steel axle with Teflon-coated sliding bushings, and double urethane elastomers with different spring constants.
