With the new Chorus group, which offers complete compatibility with the cassettes introduced with the Super Record and Record 2x12 Speed groups (11-29 and 11-32), a new cassette specification (11-34) is available that is only compatible with the Chorus 12S drivetrain system. The new 11-34 cassette actually provides the cyclist with even more versatility and greater choice and autonomy regarding usable gear ratios. The two larger sprockets of the cassette, made from a single piece, eliminate energy losses.
