This high-quality, double-jointed Verden bit is made from solid Cuprigan with stainless steel rings. Cuprigan is an alloy consisting of 89% copper, 7% aluminum, 3% iron, and 1% zinc. The oxidation process of the material emits a pleasant smell and taste. The anatomical design adapts to the shape of the horse's mouth, creating a gentle and even distribution of pressure. The combination of the design and the unique composition of Cuprigan stimulates chewing and salivation, resulting in a gentle connection with the sensitive horse's mouth. The bit has a mild effect in the mouth. The thickness of the mouthpiece is 16 mm, and the diameter of the bit rings is 65 x 50 mm.

A Verden bit features D-shaped rings that cannot rotate freely, allowing for a more direct effect of the aids. This type of bit is generally well accepted, as the mouthpiece sits relatively firmly in the mouth. The D-shape prevents the rider from pulling the bit out of the mouth, enabling good control of the horse; therefore, the bit is also suitable for young horses.
