BR Equestrian Equipment Sheepskin Saddle Pad

This anatomically shaped half pad made of cotton features a wide edge made of medical-grade sheepskin. The underside of the half pad is fully lined with sheepskin and includes a groove parallel to the spine to increase spacing. The half pad comes with six neoprene pads that correspond to the six chambers on the top. The 8 mm thick pads allow for a slight elevation of the withers and back areas. This way, the half pad stabilizes the saddle position for horses with low or weak withers or low backs. The combination of sheepskin and neoprene evenly distributes the weight of the saddle and rider across the entire horse's back, significantly reducing the risk of pressure points on the spine and withers. Medical-grade sheepskin prevents excessive heat buildup and is also hygienic, sweat-resistant, and antimicrobial. It is particularly recommended for horses with sensitive skin. The half pad is placed directly on the horse's skin or between the saddle and saddle pad under all saddles. To maintain the natural properties of sheepskin products, we recommend washing the product at 30°C with a leather detergent.
