The legs of the horse are extremely sensitive and prone to injury. Often, however, the leg protection parts are too warm or too tight. We understand how important it is for the fit to be protective while remaining comfortable for the horse. Discover our self-developed XO2 ankle protection! The result is an indispensable ankle guard that provides optimal protection, absorbs shocks, and keeps the horse's leg as cool as possible.

Outer Area
The outer area features a hard shell that optimally protects the inside of the ankle from friction. Additionally, the exterior is lined with a highly breathable mesh to keep the horse's legs cool.

Padding
The protection is equipped with our specially developed Air Liner, a thermoformable padding. The material composition gives the padding optimal properties. The padding absorbs shocks even more, thanks to the air present in the spaces created by the material. Upon impact or shock, the air escapes through the extremely breathable padding and ventilation openings. This way, your horse is perfectly protected from impacts.

Fastenings
It is also very important that the ankle protectors are equipped with suitable fastenings. If the ankle protection is too loose, it can cause irritation, but if it is too tight, it can impair blood circulation. The wide double hook and buckle fastening is very robust and can be fixed in the right place for a perfect fit.
