The ends of these German reins feature a nylon cord (diameter 8 mm). The smooth surface of the cord is a significant advantage, making it easier for the reins to glide through the rings of the bit. The section held by the rider is made of webbing that contains rubber threads (width 14 mm). The ends of the cords are attached to the webbing with snap hooks. German reins are equipped with a leather strap with a D-ring, which is used when the girth is not fitted with a ring.
