Box Delta

All Box stems are designed and manufactured using our oversized technology. By following load paths along the handlebars, we have focused on the stem-handlebar interface. With the wall thickness and diameter of oversized handlebars being larger, we opted for a wider stem interface, providing a larger surface area. To achieve this, we moved material from low-stress areas. This has significantly reduced twisting and contributed to responsiveness. The assembly of the stem with the handlebar has helped increase pedaling stiffness by preventing the 'lifting' phenomenon. There's no need to push hard on the pedals if you can't pull on the handlebar and exert the necessary power. Power can easily be lost due to handlebar flexing, which can lead to poor power transmission and handling control. When combined with other oversized components from Box, you'll benefit from increased responsiveness and reduced latency.

Main differences: This particular stem model not only shifts material from low-stress areas to the oversized interface, but also ensures stiffness through the design of the side skirts. We used a reverse development process for the stem delta. The structure was created from the outside in, contrary to the traditional inside-out method. These stems are designed for large road bikes.
