As the eco-friendly version of the AVIO, the ECO AVIO is a high-performance helmet that is ideal for gravel riding. It challenges traditional helmet design methods by offering EPS and straps made from 100% recycled materials. The ECO AVIO is ultralight thanks to its integrated components and EPS design, and it is equipped with MIPS® AIR, the lightest version of the system that protects the brain during falls. Highly ventilated, the ECO AVIO is designed to create a low-pressure zone at the back of the helmet to enhance ventilation, which is already facilitated by the large ventilation openings at the front and the recessed internal channels for improved airflow. The ECO AVIO is engineered to optimize your quest for speed through advanced aerodynamics. It features a compact shape symbolized by the Kamm Tail, a steep finish at the back of the head that reduces air resistance. Equipped with AVID Aero Progressive EPS, which redirects airflow and manages impact energy, this helmet is designed for performance down to the smallest detail: an Opti-Dock to hold any sunglasses size, and an adjustment system that is also compatible with ponytails.
