The IBEX is the further development of the BOB-YAK. Bikers who ride frequently on single trails or rough roads will appreciate the suspension, which can be adjusted in three stages. The trailer runs smoothly because the rear wheel no longer "bounces." Apart from the rear suspension, the trailer is identical to the BOB-YAK.
Versions: The MTB 26" has a 6 cm shorter coupling fork than the 28" version. The 28" version is suitable for all wheel sizes.
Construction: Same as BOB-YAK. Suspension: Coil spring with damper. Easily adjustable for the three weight levels: 11 kg, 20 kg, and 32 kg.
Color: Polyester resin, silver powder-coated.
Wheels: Aluminum rim 16 x 2.125" (54-305), 28-hole aluminum QR hub with grooved bearings, radial spokes.
Mudguard: Plastic mudguard with reflector.
Clutch: Identical to the BOB-YAK. For bicycles with solid axle hubs or hub gears, solid axle adapters must be used.
Weight: Payload 33 kg. Unladen weight 7.7 kg. Trailer length 160 cm.
Loading area: (L/W/H) 62 x 41 x 28 cm, sloping down to 16 cm. Outer width: 45 cm, narrower than the bicycle handlebars. Height: 48 cm.
