The Recon features a revised, flat PIEPS pocket above the right thigh for securely storing an avalanche transceiver. The integrated RECCO reflector adds an extra safety feature, while the reinforcements at the inner leg openings protect against ski edges and crampon points. The side-offset ventilation option of the Recon aids in temperature regulation. The high-mounted inner gaiters protect against incoming snow.
