The W Recon Insulated Shell from Black Diamond is a ski jacket specifically designed for ski touring and harsh winter conditions. It combines functionality and comfort by providing insulation in key areas to retain body heat, while breathable zones prevent overheating. The durable 4-way stretch fabric with waterproof and breathable BD.dry™ technology ensures optimal weather protection and freedom of movement. The jacket offers ample storage with a chest pocket, two hand pockets, and two mesh inner pockets that can hold skins or extra clothing. A removable inner cuff protects against incoming snow and enhances versatility in changing conditions. Additionally, the Recon features underarm zippers for temperature regulation, a waterproof front zipper, and a helmet-compatible hood for added protection against wind and weather. The integrated RECCO® technology allows for quick location in emergencies.
