Black Diamond Belay Pants

The second element of the Belay Set, the Belay Pant, is ultra-warm and provides excellent insulation when belaying conditions are icy and challenging. It is designed to be worn over any softshell pants and features bidirectional Primaloft Gold Crosscore insulation with 60 g/m² and Primaloft Rise with 40 g/m². It retains insulation even in wet conditions thanks to a 50D ripstop outer layer that is PFC-free and a 20D nylon taffeta lining. Lightweight and compressible, these versatile pants have side zippers that run the full length of the legs, allowing for easy on and off while wearing crampons. The integrated adjustable belt ensures a comfortable fit over various clothing layers. The main fabric is bluesign® certified. Equipped with PrimaLoft Cross Core insulation with Aerogel, it offers better thermal efficiency at a reduced weight. Environmentally friendly, PFC-free water-repellent treatment.
