The Spitfire Tempest Protect Winter Jacket is a well-insulated jacket with strategically placed pixel inserts for winter training. This jacket is made from Bioracer's popular Tempest Protect fabric. This 100% windproof and water-repellent material offers outstanding protection against wind and rain, even when you are training at lower intensity and speed.
Visibility and safety are particularly important during winter road training, and Bioracer has taken this into account. The shoulder inserts are made from Black Pixel – a highly reflective material that is windproof and water-repellent like Tempest, while also ensuring good visibility in the dark. The three back pockets are made from waterproof fabric with a PU coating. This year, Bioracer has added an extra lining over the pockets for increased protection.
The sleeves are equipped with narrow cuffs, which improve the fit.

The Bioracer jersey reliably protects against light rain with a DWR coating - however, the jersey is not designed for heavier precipitation. We therefore recommend combining it with a wind waistcoat on colder days or using it as an intermediate layer.
