It is suitable for horses with a narrow mouth, such as thoroughbreds or older horses (due to dental changes), horses with a large tongue, and especially horses that are sensitive to localized pressure on the tongue. The Baucher bit effectively combines the leverage effect on the lower jaw branches, the pressure development on the neck, and the modification of the bit's position in the horse's mouth. Three different rein attachment options allow for precise use of the bit. Thanks to its massive side parts, this bit has a certain weight that translates to a stable position in the mouth.
