Aquatabs is a tablet that is added to drinking water to kill most harmful microorganisms. The tablet dissolves clearly within minutes and disinfects the water within 30 minutes. Aquatabs tablets are available in a tablet size of 8.5 mg, which can be used depending on the volume and type of water to be treated. The aforementioned tablet sizes are suitable for water volumes ranging from 1 liter to 2,000 liters. The tablets are packaged in strips of 10 tablets with a shelf life of 5 years or in a tub with a shelf life of 3 years. Aquatabs achieve a 99.9999% reduction in bacteria, a 99.99% reduction in viruses, and a 99.9% reduction in cysts (Giardia) within 30 minutes when used in clear water.

Instructions for use and dosage: Each tablet is dissolved in a specific volume of water according to the dosage chart. Aquatabs should be used with clear water. If the water to be treated is cloudy, it should first be filtered through a cloth until it is clear. If the water to be treated comes from a known source, the low-risk dosage can be used. In all other situations, the high-risk dosage should be used. Ensure that the tablet is dispersed by briefly shaking or mixing the container. Wait 30 minutes for the disinfection to take effect, then the water is safe to drink. Do not swallow the tablet.
