High-quality bag with LED light on the side and comfortable to carry. The backpack straps are folded forwards during conversion, which can unfortunately cause dirt on the back. Also works less well when fully loaded, therefore limited volume.
Ortlieb offers the best overall package of flexibility, comfort and robustness with the Vario. It has everything you need for both purposes. And with the best workmanship. However, I think beautiful is different. An alternative is the differently designed but almost functionally identical Transformer from Vaude...
