Product details
Split Front has been designed to give the child the necessary freedom of movement whilst wearing their lifejacket. This is made possible by the separate buoyant material at the front of the lifejacket, which increases flexibility. Reflectors, a whistle and crotch straps are included. There is a grab handle behind the collar. The 30–40 kg size has wider crotch straps and two attachment points for the best fit. It provides 100N buoyancy and is classified as a lifejacket. A lifejacket saves lives. It is designed to always bring the wearer into a supine position and keep their mouth and nose a good distance above the water’s surface, even if the wearer is unconscious or unable to swim. Lifejackets are available with an inflatable bladder or with solid buoyancy material. What they all have in common is that, when activated, they provide the greatest buoyancy at the front and have a stable collar that supports and holds the head. A lifejacket is the obvious choice for people who cannot swim. Lifejackets always have a buoyancy rating of at least 100N. Inflatable models are classified into different categories depending on the conditions of use. An automatic lifejacket inflates when the wearer enters the water, whilst a manual lifejacket must be activated by the wearer.
