Its construction, optimized based on a scientific life cycle assessment, generates less production waste and 30% less CO2-equivalent emissions compared to the Backland 85 from 2021, without sacrificing an ounce of performance. The reason: more raw materials are used with lower CO2 emissions and waste-reducing sidewalls. Additionally, the All-Terrain Profile, made with more poplar wood but less fiberglass and resin, enhances the ski's stability. The HRZN 3D technology features a tapered tip for better floatation in powder. It also works harmoniously with the Dura Cap sidewall – allowing for direct power transfer from the tip to the sidewalls and edges.
