The Atomic Backland 85 is the perfect all-round touring ski. With an 85 mm waist width combined with the Ultra Light Woodcore, it is incredibly lightweight, making it a true highlight during ascents. On the way back down, it impresses with strong downhill performance thanks to its super-stiff Carbon Backbone – a lightweight carbon insert that runs like a stabilizing spine along the entire length of the ski, providing outstanding edge grip and exceptional maneuverability. The ski handles all snow conditions and is compatible with our 100% Mohair PreFit skins as well as the MultiFit AM-Rocker skins. Thanks to the All Mountain Rocker and Step Down Sidewall, it performs just as well on the slopes as it does in the backcountry.

The KINGPIN defines the current PinTech technology in a typically Marker way: highly functional, innovative, tuned for maximum performance, safety, and comfort, crafted to the highest quality standards, and was the first PinTech binding to be TÜV certified according to DIN ISO 13992:2007!.
