The GEL-NIMBUS™ 28 is one of ASICS' most comfortable running shoe models. It is approximately 25 g lighter than its predecessor while still providing excellent cushioning for a pleasant running experience on longer distances. The midsole combines FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning with PureGEL™ technology. These components deliver a light and soft cushioning experience that feels like landing on clouds. The upper is made of a specially developed knitted material that gently wraps your feet for added comfort.
Technical knitted upper: A lightweight, breathable knitted material that reduces the need for additional overlays.
PureGEL™ technology: A softer, updated version of our GEL™ technology that retains all the renowned properties for which GEL™ technology is famous. Approximately 65% softer compared to standard GEL™ technology.
FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning: Midsole foam that offers a blend of cloud-like cushioning and a responsive ride, while being lighter than FF BLAST™.
OrthoLite™ X-55 insole: A high-quality insole that provides cushioning performance and moisture management for a cooler, drier environment.
Reflective details: Enhanced visibility with improved reflective brightness at night and early morning.
HYBRID-ASICSGRIP™ outsole: Combines ASICSGRIP™ rubber and AHARPLUS™ materials to offer improved grip on various terrains and increased durability.
At least 75% of the shoe's main upper material is made from recycled material to reduce waste and carbon dioxide emissions.
The insole is produced using a solution dyeing process, which reduces water consumption by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by about 45% compared to conventional dyeing technology.
