Combed cotton is processed to elongate the fibers and make the fabric even softer, resulting in better quality. Socks made from combed cotton are noticeably softer and provide increased wearing comfort.

The areas that experience high friction are slightly thicker to prevent heat buildup in the shoe. The socks have recently been redesigned for greater resilience and longer durability. The toe, heel, and sole are reinforced by wrapping the main wool thread with a more durable polyamide thread.

These short-crew tennis socks feature a small padding at the top of the heel to enhance comfort and prevent chafing and skin irritation at the heel. This is known as the "Edge" system. In tennis shoes, this padding is virtually invisible.

The material contains elastane, which makes the sock much more elastic and helps it stay better on the foot. The socks may appear smaller, but this is simply a result of the higher elasticity. They are also particularly resistant to washing.

A rubber band has been added in the midfoot area to ensure better support – however, it is not noticeable on the foot and does not restrict blood circulation.
