Tennis shoes designed for intense play on clay courts with highly developed footwork. The new TS990, robust and dynamic, are ideal for players seeking lightness and responsiveness. The Lateral CS concept provides excellent and durable cushioning.

The weight is 370 g in size 43. The upper material is reinforced in the toe area and on the inside of the foot to better withstand repeated stresses from sliding and specific movements of tennis players. The outsole is made from ultra-durable Rublast rubber. Based on insights into the footwork of tennis players, the sole has been structured to be extremely robust. The patented "Lateral Cushioning System" (Lateral CS) is the result of years of research and development by Artengo and DECATHLON SportsLab, ensuring a strong reduction in impact shock.

Biomechanical studies on tennis players have shown that the use of "High Impact Resistance" foam in a specific area of the sole reduces impact shock by 13% (compared to TS990 2019). The shaft made from revolutionary Pebax® polymer material, combined with a specific shape at the forefoot, provides more dynamism and lightness.
