The Aqualung Leg3nd Elite Din is a powerful regulator set designed for advanced divers, offering precise breathing control and enhanced ergonomics. The set features an automatic closure device in the first stage that seals the inlet when it is not connected to a tank valve, protecting internal components from contamination and corrosive water, and is suitable for increased oxygen percentages. Excellent cold-water performance is achieved through a dry chamber that isolates internal parts, deep ribs for increased heat exchange to prevent freezing, and a molded cap that delays ice formation on the external diaphragm. The first stage is automatically balanced and progressively increases the working pressure with depth to maintain optimal breathing resistance, and includes ergonomic DIN and YOKE screws with a soft-touch surface for secure handling, even with cold hands. The second stage has redesigned front cover channels for lateral water flow over the diaphragm, radial openings to prevent free flow in strong currents, and enlarged openings that reduce the maximum inhalation flow by 20 percent. It features a molded exhalation cover and purge button for easy operation, a patented Comfobite mouthpiece to reduce jaw fatigue, and a reusable, tool-free mouthpiece clamp for quick replacement. An extended heat exchanger in the second stage helps prevent freezing of the mechanism, while a bi-material aerodynamic deflector reduces exhalation resistance. The set comes with a flexible, lightweight Aqua Flex hose with double protection, is multi-colored, and fits a universal size for compatibility.
