For the highest level of safety, the Alpina Rootage utilizes a high-performance material: carbon. Carbon fiber plates are integrated into the outer shell of the helmet, making it more resilient. The edges of the helmet are refined and protected with Edge Protect, an additional ceramic layer. Polycarbonate inserts reinforce the large ventilation openings, which, along with internal channels, provide the rider's head with a continuous supply of fresh air. This means that with the Alpina Rootage, you can not only conquer the trails but also tackle sweat-inducing climbs.

Despite its extremely hard outer shell, the helmet has a super soft core. The washable padding is made from COOLMAX™ material and comfortably conforms to the head. The Run System Ergo Flex ensures an optimal fit. This adjustment system features a delicate construction and evenly secures the helmet around the head in a 360-degree manner. A helmet cannot be adjusted more individually, smoothly, and comfortably. This is a crucial advantage on rough trails.

The Alpina Rootage can also be combined with goggles. An integrated hook at the back and an adjustable visor at the front make this possible.
