For the highest level of safety, the Alpina Rootage uses high-performance carbon material. Carbon fiber plates are integrated into the outer shell of the helmet, making it more durable. The edges of the helmet are enhanced with Edge Protect, an additional ceramic layer, providing extra protection. Polycarbonate inserts reinforce the large ventilation openings, which, along with internal channels, supply the rider's head with fresh air. This means that with the Alpina Rootage, you can not only conquer the trails but also tackle sweat-inducing climbs.

Despite its extremely hard outer shell, the helmet has a super-soft core. The washable padding is made from COOLMAX™ material and fits comfortably against the head. The Run System Ergo Flex ensures an optimal fit. This adjustment system features a delicate construction and secures the helmet evenly around the head in a 360-degree manner. A helmet cannot be adjusted more individually, smoothly, and comfortably. This is a significant advantage on rough trails.

The Alpina Rootage can also be combined with goggles. An integrated hook at the back and an adjustable visor at the front make this possible.
